Forgot to post one more swap I did... I'm pretty proud of myself how I figured out how to build a wooded stamp which gives the illusion that I just stamped that image. I thought this stamp image would be perfect for our Stampin' Up! Convention last week, don't you? This is a hostess set called Carry On in the Annual Catalog.

Ronald McDonald House Charity
Stampin' Up! for 10 years has been a partner with the Ronald McDonald House Charities. During the past ten years over $1,000,000 has been raised by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.
At Convention last week, Shelli Gardner (Co-Founder and CEO), issued a challenge to all the demonstrators there to promote the Moving Forward stamp set so that with each set sold $3 per set will go to RMHC. Then she surprised all those in attendance by giving away a free set to us. You will find it on the inside last page of the Annual Catalog.
So I encouage you to add it to your stamp collection and help out this wonderful charity which helps ill children across the country.

Another Fabulous Stampin' Up! Convention
I just returned from 5 awesome days in Salt Lake City, Utah for the annual Stampin' Up! Convention. WOW it was amazing! I listened to great presenters on the main stage, attended a variety of inspiring workshops, swapped cards with other demonstrators - both general swaps and organized swaps, and met many wonderful people. I even tweeted, facebooked, and pinned on Pinterest during convention about convention. I have learned that 700 swaps is about 200 too many for me, but I had fun. I swapped for Christmas cards, 3-D cards, 3-D projects, 3x3 note cards, technique cards, and 3 different recipe swaps. I now know which swaps I'd like to do again. Over the next week, I'll reveal my swaps and provide supply lists on how to make them if you'd like to.
Next year is the 25th Anniversary of Stampin' Up! and the Annual Convention promises to be amazing! The dates are July 18-20, 2013. Join my team and we can go together and have a blast!!!
I've already shown you a couple of my swaps in previous posts, but here is a 3-D card for your enjoyment.

Baby Cards - Too Cute
These baby cards were inspired by Ellen LeFevre. She did a very cute girly card, but I wanted to try a boyish card. Not sure if I was successful there, but I still think it's cute! I made my own tagboard pattern designed like Ellen's. Thanks for sharing Ellen!
Another Convention Swap
I had fun designing this 3.5 x 8 inch gift bag using Designer Series Paper called Be of Good Cheer from the new 2012 Annual Catalog, pg. 164. This will be shared at a Shoe Box 3D Swap organized by the Late Night Stampers group. (I'm an adopted member!) First time I will ever have done this type of swapping before. I'm looking forward to it! I also tried my hand at the paper rosettes, oh my gosh, that is a challenge! I recommend using a hot glue gun for fast production of them. It's hard to see, but I crimped the "holly" leaf for a little added texture. The sentiment is a hostess set called Wacky Wishes and it is heat embossed with black embossing powder.
Update 7/23/2012
This design earned me a small prize in one of the organized swaps I participated in. Yippee!
