Shaker cards have always been a little intimidating for me. I have been afraid of having the glitter go all over the place because I haven't secured the frame holding the glitter well. Good news! I have overcome my fear of shaker cards. The trick is what type adhesive you use to frame the window!
Stampin' Up! has the perfect solution now - Foam Adhesive Strips. By cutting just the lengths you need, you can square off the corners and make sure your "glitter fence" is tight at every corner, so no more glitter accidents.
I have one more tip to share too - I use one of the extra sticky masking tape lint rollers to pick up all stray pieces of glitter on my work surface or my clothes. It is such a lifesaver.
This darling card was cased from Debbie Henderson. It was SOOOO cute I had to make one for myself. This layout would work with a variety of stamps and holidays, so why not make more than one using your stamp collection! I don't know about you, but I have many stamp sets to choose from.
I recently offered a Zoom Class for this card, so a written tutorial was a necessity. I am now making that tutorial available to you! Click Here for FREE Tutorial. Enjoy and have Fun!
Hope you have fun making this Snowman Season Shaker Card. Kids or Grandkids would love to receive it!
Have a Creative Day! Blessings to you!
