Let's Create this Card:
1. Cut Pool Party cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
2. Cut Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper (snowflakes) - 4" x 5-1/4" for the card front.
3. Cut the Woodgrain from In Good Taste Designer Series Paper 4" x 1-1/2" for the card front.
4. With the Snow Globe Scenes Die for the globe, cut out the opening in the snowflake paper, positioning it as shown in the sample.
5. Cut Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper (mountains) 3" square for the scene base. With a pencil, lightly trace the inside of the die on the paper, so you'll know where to position the house, tree, car and road. With a Wink of Stella pen, add sparkle to the snow on the mountain.
6. Fussy cut with paper snips the house, tree, car, and road and "Season of Cheer" from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper package as shown in photo.
7. Using Mini Dimensionals and liquid glue layer your tree with glue, the house and car with road glued to car with Mini Dimensionals, and finish with Mini Dimensionals on the greeting as shown in the photo. Then lightly erase the pencil line after everything is dry.
8. As a practice before you peel the adhesive tape off the snow globe shaker dome, place it inside the die cut of the snowflake paper, then see where your scene will go on the pool party paper beneath. Mark those corners with pencil. Once you are happy with the fit, then glue the scene to the pool party. Next peel the adhesive strip from the side of the dome that will adhere to the back of the snowflake paper. Press securely.
9. With a plastic teaspoon, take about 1/2 teaspoon of the Ice Glitter and set it in a small pile on the house, keeping your card base flat on the table. Now add more adhesive to the rest of the back of the snowflake paper and peel the adhesive from the outer edge of the snow globe and press the entire layer to the pool party cardstock. Once you are sure everything is tightly down, shake the glitter and it should land underneath the car.
10. Adhere the woodgrain to the lower portion of the card front as shown.
11. Die cut the red foil and Whisper White cardstock to make the snow globe base. With liquid glue or adhesive sheets - adhere both layers together. When dry, add Dimensionals to the back of the base and affix beneath the snow globe.
12. Finish card with a red bow and red sequins. For extra pizzazz, decorate the matching envelope flap with more Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper.
