I love to do card swaps! It's so fun to see what you receive in return. If you've never done one, you should! I recently participated in a group of Silver level demonstrators sharing their card ideas from the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog. This card design was my swap.
Since I love to bake and grow my garden, I was drawn to this stamp set. I am imagining that the bowl is holding my most recent picking from my strawberry beds. (See photo below) I know the stamp is supposed to be of cherries (Life is a bowl of Cherries) but a girl can dream right?
Measure of Love 154997 $17 Photopolymer Set
Card Recipe:
Stamp Set - Measure of Love
Cardstock - Petal Pink or So Saffron or Blushing Bride
Subtles 6x6 Designer Series Paper
Copper Foil
Dies - Scalloped Contours and Stitched Rectangles
Inks - Petal Pink or So Saffron or Blushing Bride with Poppy Parade, Old Olive
and Memento Tuxedo Black
Embellishment - Genial Gems
Construction Hints:
1) Start stamping with the scale then work your way up, so you don't run out of space.
2) Practice the bowl, cherries, and stem stamps together a few times, so you can see how to position them for a good result.
3) The scale needle isn't very hard to position since you'll be able to see the black dot from the scale through the photopolymer stamp.
You can order these items at my online store with the button below. If you love to bake like I do, you should get this set. It would make wonderful tags to go on your baked items!
Have fun!
