Sweet Ice Cream Window Tent Card

You've made it to the last Ice Cream Corner Suite card I'm going to share with you for a while. There are so many more cards on my list to make for you, I'd better get a move on.

This darling card is cased from Anne Alexander but I changed up the color combinations to make it my own. Have you noticed yet that the vertical front piece is what has been cut out of the middle section of the card base?

Specific Products needed:
Ice Cream Corner Suite or Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch
Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Basic White cardstock
Pool Party and Bermuda Bay Inks
Window Sheet
Tear and Tape to secure Window Sheet
Mini Dimensionals to raise up the scoop edges so ice creams feels 3D
Retired Tutti-Fruitti Sequins or embellishment of your choice

Cutting Dimensions:

Pool Party card base - 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2"
On Long side going from left edge, cut at 3-3/4", then take that piece you cut off and cut at 2" from left edge. So you will have in this order a 1-3/4" piece for bottom, 2" wide piece for vertical and then the amount that is folded down from the score line is also 1-3/4".

Bermuda Bay cardstock:
Cut 2 pieces 1-5/8" x 4-1/8" for front top and bottom sections
Cut 1 piece for vertical at 1-7/8" x 4-1/8"

Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper:
Cut 2 pieces 1-1/2" x 4"
Cut 1 piece for vertical at 1-3/4" x 4"

Window Sheet - Start with 4-1/4" x 5-1/2, but you'll need to trim off a 1/16" on the 5-1/2" length so the card will close completely.

Helpful Assembly Hint:

Lay your window sheet inside of the card, then go ahead and adhere your layers of Bermuda Bay and the DSP as shown to the top and bottom Pool Party sections (not the window sheet, yet.) Build the Vertical section next. Use a strong adhesive to attach the top and bottom of the vertical piece as a bridge to the top and bottom sections, making sure the bottom section does not go longer than the window sheet. Once the bridge is securely glued. Then you can open the card flat. Place tear and tape on the inner front side of the card, remove the protective paper, and attach the window sheet to the inside of the front so it fits perfectly.

Basic White cardstock for inner layer - cut 4" x 5-1/4", then stamp greetings as shown, making sure the Happy Birthday fully hides behind the vertical piece. Make sure the You're So Cool stamp shows through the window sheet completely.

Four Scoop Ice Cream Cone:
Have fun with the DSP to choose 4 scoops to punch out and then punch out one cone like shown in the photo.  I recommend you lay out your ice cream to see how it will fit on the vertical section before you start stacking. You don't want to run out of room! Starting with the bottom scoop, adhere the top of the cone with Stampin' Seal but use Mini Dimensionals to raise up the bottom edge of each scoop.Continue until all four scoops are stacked. Finish with whatever embellishment you have that will look nice.

Sneak Peek on the inside. Can you see the clear window sheet?
The Happy Birthday greeting is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink with A Grand Kid stamp set.

Window Sheet covers the entire inner front of the tent card.
Isn't it fun to see how you can stamp two greetings but only one shows when the card is closed. I think that is so clever!

You can find these products at my online store at the link below. Make sure you get the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper before it goes away forever on June 30!

I hope you've loved all nine of the ice cream cards I've shared over the last week or so. I had fun making them for my product class and sharing them with you.

Happy Stamping!
