Did you know Stampin' Up! Demonstrators get to order new products one month ahead of the general public? That's a great perk of being a demonstrator! I love making my wish list early! As I was flipping through both the Fall Mini Catalog and the Second Sale-a-Bration brochure, I stopped at these darling sheep! They are just so cheerful. However, I noticed these sheep needed eyelashes! So I added them! Aren't they darling?
Products used to create this card:
Counting Sheep Sale-a-Bration cling stamp set and Sale-a-Bration Sheep Dies are free with a $100 USD order before shipping and tax now through Sept. 30, 2021
Mint Macaron card base 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Crushed Curry cardstock 2-1/2" x 5-1/2"
Retired - It's My Party Designer Series Paper (DSP) from 2016 - one piece 2" x 5-1/2, then split at 1" so the paper's pattern will carry from one strip to the other. (I'm sure you'll be able to find a cute piece of DSP that will work well.)
Basic White cardstock for the sheep and stamp the three sheep with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink then die cut them out with your die cutting machine
Color using Light and Dark Gray Granite Stampin' Blends pens (but be careful not to color the "whites" of two sheep's eyes) for the legs, hooves, and faces
Basic Black Stampin' Write marker to draw eyelashes with the fine tip end
Mount the sheep on the card front as shown in the photo. One sheep is "balancing" on the back of the other!
Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo cardstock scraps for balloon die cuts, add rhinestone jewels after mounting on card front with mini dimensionals and glue dots
Small strip of Basic White to stamp the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Run stamped white strip through die cut machine with Tasteful Label die, then adhere
Small strip of Melon Mambo to fussy cut around after mounting white tag
Adhere tag to card front
All done!
