What do you do when you make a "wrong" cut in your card base? You design a new style of card! I'm calling it the "K" Card Shape Fun Fold.
Refer to my photos below to create the two pieces you'll need for the card base, but DON'T glue them together just yet.
Then cut the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut 4" x 5 1/4", then slice from upper right to lower left. One of the triangles flips over to get the two patterns. You will need to play with the fit of the DSP triangles and fine tune them by cutting off a little "here and there" of the DSP triangle.
Once you've got the patterned paper to fit the way you like it, go ahead and adhere to each triangle section, Now set the loose triangle inside of the card and see how it fits and looks. If you are happy , go ahead and adhere them together making sure you don't get any adhesive where it shouldn't be.
Decide what sentiment and ink color you will want to stamp on the Basic White inner layer cut at 4" x 5 1/4". Lay the paper inside the card base with even margins so you will know exactly where to stamp. Once your sentiment is stamped then you can adhere inside the card.
With a scrap of Basic White, stamp your choice of "craft" in another coordinating ink color, then die cut out. Adhere only half of the image to the lower triangle portion, with the other half of the image hanging over the edge.
Embellish with your choice of coordinating embellishments.
If you'd like a decorated envelope flap, cut a piece of the DSP 2 3/8" x 6", adhere and trim off excess.
Ta-Da, you have a darling card to give or send!
